Deploy or Modify vApps/VMs

vCloud uses the concept of vApps. These are an administrative grouping of VMs that make up an application’s server infrastructure.

 

Each vApp can contain one or more VMs, which can be configured to start and stop in a certain order. In reality, many vApps are likely to contain a single VM.

 

Note:
- The ability to deploy a vApp or VM is only available to Administrator and Author level users.
- VMs created in vCloud Standard can also be viewed in the Compute Overview Page of CloudCreator. 
- It may take 20 minutes or more before a new VM is available for Scheduled Actions in CloudCreator.
