Log in to vCloud Standard

You must be subscribed to the vCloud Standard service before you can log in. Contact your Client Engagement Manager to add this subscription.

Follow the steps below to log in to vCloud.

1. Navigate to the Compute Overview page. Either:

  • Select the Compute tile from the CloudCreator Landing page:

  • Or select the Virtual Clouds icon to navigate to the Summary screen for your virtual cloud, and select the Compute tab:

2. The Compute Overview page appears (shown below). Here you can view:

  • All your compute services and the locations you are using them.
  • How many resources you have in location, and their status.
  • The number of individual resources consuming a Silver-lining service, with access to the tool's admin portal.
  • See The Compute Overview Page to find out more.

3.  Locate the vCloud Standard datacentre you require and click Manage (as shown above).

4. Single Sign On will authenticate the session and log in automatically. The vCloud portal appears. This provides quick access to the virtual datacenter(s) which in turn provide access to computer resources.

Note: Passwords are changed via the Manage Users screen in CloudCreator, not in the vCloud portal. Follow the steps here: Manage Users and Assign Roles.
