Follow the steps below.
1. Click the Virtual Clouds icon in the sidebar.
2. If your company is using multiple clouds, click the cloud name at the top of your screen. Then select either a Parent or Child cloud from the dropdown menu.
3. In the Summary screen for your virtual cloud, click on the Storage tab at the top of the screen. Here you can view and manage Vault services, including:

Create a vault storage account

Reset the secret key
-
View buckets
-
Update cost centre for Vault Buckets
-
Delete Vault storage account (if there are no buckets).

Assign or Modify Cost Centres to Logical Units (LUN's) in Physical Storage
Follow the steps below.
1. From the Summary screen of your Virtual Cloud, click the Storage tab, then select Physical Storage from the dropdown menu.
2. The Physical Storage screen appears including the details of each LUN (logical unit).
3. To assign or modify cost centres to a LUN, use the table below.

2. The Assign Cost Centres screen appears (screenshot below).
3. Add the Cost Centre Codes and percentages. If you wish to add more than one cost centre, the combined percentage must add up to 100%, eg. 60 + 40, or 50 + 50.
4. Select Add add to confirm. The Cost Centre Codes will be added to the details of the LUN.

Multiple cost centres assigned |
The cost centre names will appear as a link in the Cost Centre column. Follow these steps:
1. Click on the Cost Centre link.
2. The Assign Cost Centres screen appears (screenshot below).
3. Modify the Cost Centre Codes and update the percentages if required. For multiple cost centres the combined percentage must add up to 100%, eg. 60 + 40, or 50 + 50.
4. Select Save to confirm. The updated Cost Centre Codes will appear next to the LUN details.

Assign or Modify Cost Centres to Cascade Namespaces
Only users with the role of Global Admin, Cloud Admin, or "Billing Admin + Cascade User" can:
- See the Cascade tab once subscribed, and
- Assign or modify cost centres.
See Roles and Permissions for more information.
Follow the steps below.
1. From the Summary screen of your virtual cloud, click the Storage tab, then select Cascade from the dropdown menu.
2. The Cascade data displays. Here you can:

View the Buckets, Tenants and Namespaces mapped to your cloud.
- Re-order any list by clicking its heading.
3. Use the table below to Assign or Modify a Cost Centre to a Namespace.

Follow these steps:
1. Click on the green plus icon
2. The Assign Cost Centres screen appears (screenshot below).
3. Add the Cost Centre Codes and percentages. If you wish to add more than one cost centre, the combined percentage must add up to 100%, eg. 60 + 40, or 50 + 50.
4. Select Add add to confirm. The Cost Centre Codes will be added to the details of the Namespace.

Modify a Cost Centre

Cost Centres that have already been assigned are shown as a link in the Cost Centre column. For example:
To modify an existing Cost Centre, follow these steps:
1. Click on the cost centre link (example highlighted above).
2. In the Assign Cost Centres screen, modify the Cost Centre Codes and update the percentages if required.
For multiple cost centres the combined percentage must add up to 100%, eg. 60 + 40, or 50 + 50.
4. Click Save. The updated Cost Centre Codes will appear next to the Namespace details. |
Assign an Alias to Cascade Buckets, Tenants and Namespaces
Only users with the role of Global Admin, Cloud Admin, or 'Billing Admin + Cascade User' can:
- see the Cascade tab once subscribed, and
- assign an alias.
See Roles and Permissions for more information.
You can assign an alias to make it easier to identify Cascade buckets, tenants and namespaces. Follow the steps below.
1. From the Storage tab, select Cascade from the dropdown menu.
2. The Cascade screen will appear showing a list of Buckets, Tenants and Namespaces mapped to your cloud. Note: You can reorder any list by clicking on its heading.
3. Click on the pencil icon next to the bucket, tenant or namespace you want to assign an alias to.
4. The Edit screen displays. Add the alias name and click Save to confirm.
